On August 19, 2016, we witnessed a heartwarming and successful planting event in New Delhi, India. Our dedicated team, along with enthusiastic student volunteers, came together to plant 120 fruit-tree saplings in the West Zone of the city. It was an event filled with hope, determination, and the shared vision of a greener and healthier tomorrow.
The day began with excitement and eagerness as the student volunteers, armed with shovels and saplings, gathered to make a positive impact on the environment. With each sapling carefully planted in the soil, we knew that we were taking a step towards creating a more sustainable future for generations to come.
This event exemplified the spirit of unity and collaboration that drives our mission at WePlant. Through collective efforts, we strive to end malnutrition and hunger by planting fruit trees in large numbers in public spaces. The fruits of these trees will not only provide nourishment but also serve as a symbol of hope for a brighter tomorrow.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the student volunteers whose enthusiasm and dedication made this planting event a resounding success. Their active involvement reminds us that each individual, no matter how young, can play a crucial role in fostering positive change.
As the saplings take root and grow, so does our resolve to continue planting and nurturing fruit trees across the nation. Together, we can bring about a transformation where hunger and malnutrition become a thing of the past. Let us cherish the memories of this event and look forward to even greater achievements in our journey towards a healthier and greener India.
